A camera does not make anyone a photographer, and neither does a preset.
Most people who come to me already own a good camera. What they are missing is the reason to point it at one thing rather than another.
Private photography lessons in Munich
One to one, at your pace
Lessons are individual, so nothing is taught twice and nothing is skipped. Depending on what you want, we work on camera settings, composition, light, or on building a body of work. The plan for a single lesson or a whole course is written for you after the first conversation.
Photography for beginners
Aperture, shutter speed and ISO explained in plain language, on your own camera, with your own lenses. By the end of the first lesson you leave automatic mode and do not go back to it.
Photography lessons for children
Children learn the same things with shorter theory and longer practice. A camera gives a child a reason to look at the city properly, and that is most of what these lessons are for.
Composition, light and the photographers worth knowing
Every lesson has theory and practice. We also look at photographs that matter - Magnum reportage, portraiture, fashion - and take them apart: why this frame works, where the light comes from, what was left outside the edge. Learning to read photographs is how you start making better ones.

How the lessons work
Theory at your home, at your own table, with your own camera. Practice immediately afterwards, in the streets and parks nearby - Munich is a good classroom. A lesson lasts an hour and a half to two hours. Some people take one lesson and are done; others take a course of six or eight.
Lessons are taught in English or Russian.
Photography lesson prices
One lesson is 100 euro and lasts an hour and a half to two hours. Courses are priced per lesson, so nothing is paid in advance beyond the next meeting.
What you need. Your own camera and lenses. If you are still choosing a camera, that can be the subject of the first lesson.
Where. Theory at your home in Munich, practice nearby.
Travel. Outside Munich, 1 € per kilometre for the outward and return journey.
Languages. English or Russian.
No VAT under § 19 UStG.

Fotounterricht in München
Einzelunterricht für Erwachsene und Kinder in München. Kameraeinstellungen, Bildaufbau und Licht - erklärt an Ihrer eigenen Kamera. Theorie bei Ihnen zu Hause, Praxis direkt in der Umgebung.
Preis und Ablauf
Eine Unterrichtsstunde kostet 100 Euro und dauert anderthalb bis zwei Stunden. Der Ablauf wird nach dem ersten Gespräch individuell zusammengestellt. Termine außerhalb Münchens werden mit 1 Euro je Kilometer für Hin- und Rückfahrt berechnet. Als Kleinunternehmerin im Sinne von § 19 UStG wird keine Umsatzsteuer berechnet.
Der Unterricht findet auf Englisch oder Russisch statt.
